Driver
Qualifications / Requirements
Driver's Licence
The driver must have held a full driving Licence for a minimum of two years.
The old style paper licence or the new UK photocard licence with its paper
counterpart must be produced. Certain endorsements may not be accepted.
Age Restrictions
Drivers must be 23 years or over for cars up to 1.4cc, and 25 years or over
for cars over 1.6cc. The upper age limit is 70 years.
Additional Driver
Additional drivers are charged at £15.00 per week.
Rental Charges
Rental Charges
The quoted cost of hire includes: the rental, insurance, VAT, breakdown assistance
and road fund tax. Unlimited mileage applies to all rentals except one day
rentals. One day car rentals include 150 miles of travel and any excess miles
are charged at 10p per mile for cars and 15p per mile for MPVs and minibuses.
Fuel
Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and should be returned full. If
a vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, the cost of the refuelling
will be charged.
Methods of Payment
Credit cards accepted: American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard & Visa.
Pre-authorisation Deposit
At the start of the rental a credit card pre-authorisation is obtained to cover
any back-end charges associated with the rental, such as extended rental,
refuelling, parking infringements, or damage to the vehicle.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, a 25% charge on the vehicle rental will be made
unless 48 hours notice is given.
